Georgia Brookes (Canning)played by Saskia Hampele first arrived in Sonya's nursery on 5 October 2012.Today 27 May 2015,Ramsay Street says goodbye to Georgia after nearly 3 years.In her 3 years Georgia has been engaged 3 times,Had a relationship and marraige to Kyle,been the victim of her crazy cousin Gemma,suffered heartbreak as a result of Kate and Exposed Nick as being a corrupt doctor.

Georgia,a Nurse at Erinsborough hospital first arrived in Sonya's Nursery buying flowers.Little did Sonya or Georgia know that she was buying those flowers for Sonya as she was Toadies cousin from Birrugara.She soon settled in at the Rebecchi household and immediately caught the attention of Kyle Canning despite being engaged to someone from Birrugara,Scotty.Soon after Toadie and Sonyas wedding Scotty was exposed as being Gay and the engagement fell apart.It wasnt long until she had started a relationship with Kyle that would end up lasting forever.

5.Georgia's Cancer Scare:

In August and September 2014,Georgia started to get a severley bad throat and when she decided to get checked out,Karl told her she might have Throat Cancer as it ran in her family.She had an operation on her throat and despite a few complications,she was okay,Karl later had to reveal the heartbreaking news that Georgia would never be able to sing again,throwing away her singing career.

4.Georgia's Miscarraige

Georgia fell pregnant with Kyle's baby while they were broken up in early 2014.She was so happy to be pregnant and had always wanted to be a mum.A few weeks later Georgia was told that she had miscarried her baby.This completely devastated Georgia who desperately wanted to have this baby.

3.Georgia being a victim of Crazy Gemma.

Georgia's cousin Gemma arrived in November 2013 and was set to destroy Georgia's relationship with Kyle.First she revealed that Kyle had slept with Kate at their engagement party.She then tried to take Georgia away from Ramsay Street to prevent her ever finding out it was her who planted the email.However Georgia did find out and while trying to chase Gemma,she was pushed and collapsed on the floor of the motel they were in.She was later found by Kate and Kyle but the relationship was still over.

2.Georgia's Relationship with Kyle:

Kyle and Georgia's relationship has been anything but smooth.They got engaged in Late 2013 but broke up later when it was revealed that Kyle had slept with Kate.It took 4 months and the death of a close friend to rebuild that relationship.On April 7,they rekindled their love at Kates funeral right before Kyle went off to Thailand for 3 months.He returned in July with a very important question to ask Georgia.They got engaged in July and this time it would last.Before the wedding in October,they faced a number of relationship challenges like Georgias Cancer Scare,Kyles work decline and Chris' accident.They tied the knot in October at a beautiful ceremony in Sonya's Nursery,Since then they have faced the wrath of Kyles estranged dad Gary,prepared to try for children again,dealt with Nicks scams and Georgia's mums Cancer.I think its safe to say their relationship can overcome anything and they are meant to be together. 

1.Georgia Exposes Nick:

In what I believe to be Georgia's best and most challenging storyline is her obsession with exposing new doctor,Nick Patrides as a crook.After he made a bet that he could bed Georgia,she was suspicious of him.Nick had told Paul lies about him having Luekeamia and as treating him illegally.Georgia discivered this when she broke into his computer files after he got her fired from work.She was eventually able to prove that Nick had lied and was responsible for his imprisonment last Month.

They are Georgia's Best Bits.On behalf of all neighbours fans I want to wish Saskia Hampele all the best for the future and hooefully we might see her back In Ramsay Street some day?

Its been exactly one year since Daniel Robinson came to Erinsborough to "visit"his Uncle Paul and see the place where his parents fell in love.

Daniel has been a breath of fresh air the show has really needed.He has also been a blast from the past as he is the son of Neighbours most iconic couple Scott and Charlene.Over the past year,Daniel has had an affair with Amber Turner,who he later got engaged too,been apart of the tornado,captured the heart of Imogen,been visited by his hippie ex Rain who went on to cause problems for his relationship with Amber.In 2015 he opened up his bar Off Air,got stuck down a well on his Wedding Day with Imogen who had just admitted her love for him.Amber is ccurrently pregnant with what is hopefully his child however it is possible it could be Josh's.Its fair to say he is following in his parents footsteps.He currently lives in No.32 with the Turners.His endless positivety and free spirited personality has helped make him one of Erinsboroughs most liked characters.I know he has so much more to bring to the show and however long he stays in the show I know he will be missed when he leaves.

Neighbours took a new,more modern twist when entering this era.The arrival of two new major families in 2013 provided two blasts from the past.The Turners and The Willis'.Lauren Carpenter returns married with a family and they are The Turners.Brad Willis returns with new family aswell.Other families include The Cannings,The Rebecchi's and The Robinson/Ramsay.One of the  most exciting things to happen in this era is the arrival of iconic couple Scott and Charlenes son Daniel.Other arrivals include Paige the illegitimate child of Lauren and Brad,Nate Susans nephew ,the return of Mark Brennan,Naomi Sheila's daughter and recently Tyler Marks brother.The departure of Lucas,Sophie,Vanessa,The Kapoors,Callum ,Andrew,Summer and Tash.The births of Nell and Patrick,the deaths of Priya,Kate and Matt and The Marraiges of Toadie and Sonya and Kyle and Georgia.Big Moments include The Wedding explosion,Daniel and Ambers affair,Kates shooting,The hit and Run,Bailey alcoholism,Callums departure.Naomi seducing Toadie.The Teens car crash,Joshs accident,Chris' accident and more.

5.The Teens Car Crash:

Tash,Andrew,Chris,Summer and Sophie were involved in one of the shows biggest car crashes the show has ever seen.While in an argument between andrew and Tash Chris lost focus and crashed the car off the road.Sophie was the most hurt as she was thrown from the car.Andrew developed epilepsy and Summer suffered from Post Traumatic Stress disorder.Sophie had to learn how to walk again,Paul seued Chris angry that Sophie and Andrew were hurt but Andrew later convinced him to drop the law suit.

4.Kate Ramsays Murder:

Kate was shot in April 2014.It was a devastating event because it was her birthday and she had just got engaged.Zeke and Sophie had returned for her birthday and witnessed the shooting along with Mark,Georgia and Kyle.It had shocking consequences for Paul as he lost it and trashed Charlies.He blamed Brennan but we later found out it was Victor Cleary who killed her which linked back to Paul.The only thing that got Paul to move on was Daniels arrival later in the month.

3.The Tornado:

A lot happened on the night of the Tornado.It had both good and bad consequences.Daniel and Amber got engaged in the garage after the roof of their car was ripped off and they almost blew away with it.Mark and Paige finally gave in to their feelings and started going out.The roof of Harolds collapsed trapping Lou underneath it although he made a full recovery.It destroyed the street and took weeks to get back to normal.

2.The 30th Anniversary:

The 30th anniversay celebrations took place in March 2015 in the form of the Erinsborough festival.It had returns from iconic characters Harold and Madge.Aswell as returns from Des,Lucas,Vanessa,Sky and Nina.The 30th anniversary episode was Daniel and Ambers Wedding.Although everone dissapproved of their marraige they went ahead with the weddign.However Imogen confessed to MAber the night before that she was in love with Daniel.The next day Daniel confronted Imogen and they ended up trapped in a well leading people to beleive they had run off together.

1.Toadie and Sonya's Wedding explosion:

In typical Ramsay Street style,the wedding had serious drama.The long awaited wedding of soulmates Toadie and Sonya.The wedding was beautiful but the reception had shocking effects on the street.A massive gas explosion happened at the wedding killing Doctor Rhys Lawson and Principal Priya Kapoor.Sonya was also in a choma for 5 days and had short term memory loss when she woke up.It was obvious that Toadies wedding wouldnt run smoothly but nobody could have predicted just how disastrous it would become.

The New Age Era is definetely my favorite era character wise.Most of my favorite characters are form this Era.It was seen as a new beginning for Neighbours with loads of new characters introduced and a revamp to the opening credits and theme.It mainly focuses on mixed families and they re-build families from the past.The Kennedy/Kinski is most evident as well as The Fitzgeralds,The Scullys,The Robinson/Napier and The Parkers.Big families like The Timmins and The remaining Bishop,s departed.New characters that were introduced are Zeke,Rachel,Ty,Donna,Ringo,Declan,Bridget, Sunny and Kate(which make up the teens.)Libbys Return,The arrival of Sonya,Callum,Dan,Lucas,The return of Lyn and Summer,Andrew,Tash.Big moments include The roof collapse,Rosie and Frazers traguc wedding,Stephs betrayal,Bridgets Death,The rafting accident,The Ramsays arrival,Sonyas confession,Toadie and Stephs sham wedding,Ringos death,Zekes departure,Tashs fake pregnancy and Susans MS.

5.Rosie and Frazer's Wedding:

Rosie and Frazers Wedding Day proved to be quite tragic.The Wedding itself went off without a hitch.However after The Wedding Toadie was driving everyone home in a minibus.They got to Ramsay Street when The Parkers moving van ploughed into them even though no one was driving.No one Died but Ringo was badly hurt.

4.Steph's Betrayal:

In 2010 Steph utterly betrayed best friend Libby when she sleot with Libbys husband Dan and became pregnant.She then got Toadie involved by getting him to agree it was his baby and eventually marry her.The truth came out in Episode 5977 when Paul played a recording of Steph and Dans phone conversation live on PirateNet.Libby discovered the truth and in a showdown on the street said to Steph "You are a cheap tramp and a filthy liar".

3.Rafting Accident:

The rafting accident was a devasting accident which saw a raft with Libby,Bridget and Zeke on it overturn in  the water.Libby and Bridget were found quite quickly with no  serious damage .Unfortunately Zeke remained missing for weeks and was eventually presumed dead.The wholw street mourned Zeke in a memorial held at Harolds.However it turned out that Zeke was nt dead and was infact taken by Phil Andrews.He had severe memory loss nad had no recollection of his former life.When Susan and Karl took him home it didnt take long for him to remember who he was.This accident messed Zeke up emotionally though and he suffered anxiety for months afterwards

2.Bridgets Death:

Bridget died from a pulmonary embolism after a car crash.She had just given birth to India and Married Decaln.This devastated The whole of Ramsay Street especially her best friends and Declan and her parents who left the day of her funeral.Bridget was a smart girl who wanted to be a doctor and she was only 17.It was a tragic death.

1.Susans MS:

Susan was diagonosed with MS after she lost her sight.It was a devastating time for The Kennedy's and Susan.Over the next few years she had several relapses including loosing the feeling in her legs and miscarrying Libbys baby.Susans MS setback some plans they could have made.It was certaintly THE biggest moment from this Era.

In one of the most explosive era's ever full of tragedy and loss,the years 2001-2006 certainly were some of the best.With the arrival of Nina,Connor,Max,Summer and Boyd,the deparures of Lance,Tad,Paul,Libby and Joel.The deaths of Madge,Drew,Dee and The Bishops and the Return of Paul Robinson.Some big moments include Toadie and Dee's tragic wedding in 2003,The Lassiters fire which destroyed Lassiters,The Coffee Shop and Lous Place in 2004,The 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2005 and The Plane Crash also in 2005.It was centered around The Scully's,The  Hoylands,The Timmins and The Bishops.Aswell as the usual Kennedy drama.

5.Libby Kennedy's Departure:

Saying goodbye to legend Libby Kennedy after 10 years was hard when she decided to leave and go and live with ex-boyfriend Darren 2 years after her husband Drews death.She said an emotional goodbye to the residents in the Street and drove away fromThe Street.She returned 3 years later in 2007.

4.Madge Bishops Death:

Madge Bishop died from Pancreatic Cancer in 2001.Her death is one of the saddest deaths ever on Neighbours.She found out she had pancreatic cancer in March 2001 and was dead within the month.She died at home after saying an emotional goodbye to foster children Tad and Paul and Lou aswell as saying goodbye to soulmate Harold Bishop.The people of Erinsborough mourned Madges death for a long time.

3.Lassiter's Fire:

In the 2004 finale,A fire was started in Lou's Pub which saw the end to the whole complex.The fire quickly spread to The Coffe Shop and Lassiters Hotel.Inside Lou's Stuart and Sindi were trapped inside the fire and if it wasnt for Toadie they may never have gotten out.A body was found the next day which was revealed to be Gus Cleary.Lou and Harold stood and watched as Their businesses burned to the ground.The fire was later revealed to have been started by Paul Robinson who made a return to Erinsborough.

2.Toadie and Dee'sTragic Wedding/Dee's Death:

On what was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives ended up being one of the most tragic events ever to occur on Neighbours.The day started off great with Toadie and his true love Dee tying the knot in a beautiful ceremony.However when the newly weds were off on their honeymoon to the Maldives,they shared a kiss and went off a cliff into the sea below.Toadie came out perfectly fine but Dee was never found and presumed dead.Toadie blamed himself for Dee's death and it took him a long time to forgive himself.

1.Plane Crash:

The Plane Crash was also a devestating time for The Residents of Ramsay Street.Most of the residents were on board this plane and Pauls phsyco son Robert placed a bomb on board.Whilst flying over Bait Strait,The bomb detenated and exploded,crashing the plane to land in the sea.Most of the Residents eventually got rescued but David Bishop was found dead and his wife Liljana and daughter Serena's bodies were never found.Connor and Dylan were missing for a long time and realised that they were better off dead so decided to stay hidden until they realised people were mourning them so they turned up at Dylans funeral. 

One of the best Era's of Neighbours ever,in my opinion.The arrival of The Kennedy family is what mainly contributed to this.They arrived in 1994 as a five-peace family.Karl and Susan (The parents) and Mal,Libby and Billy (The kids).Susan was the principal of Erinsborough High and Karl was the local doctor.Over the next 3 years,they would feature heavily.Mal left in 1997 and they became a four-piece until 2000 when Bill left.They have had some of the most controversial stories this show has ever seen.Other families include,The Martins,The Rebecchi's,The Wilkinsons,The Starks and The Bishops.Other big moments include Helen Daniels Death,Cody Willis' shooting and Death,Cheryl's Death,Ruth and Philips Wedding.The Rebecchi's Arrival and the Fire at the Scully's.

5.Cody Willis' Shooting and Death:

Cody Willis' died in hospital after she was unintentionally shot in No.30 by some dodgy guys.She awoke in hospital but later suffered Cardiac arrest and died.This left her mother,Pam devastated as well as the whole of Ramsay Street.

4.Billy Kennedy and Anne Wilkinsons Relationship:

Billy and Anne are this Era's Scott and Charlene.They first got together in 1997.There relationship was on and off for most of the time.They broke up more times than I can Count.They always found themselves back in each others arms.They were kids but they were so meant to be.In 1999 Anne turned down a chance to go to Uni in Dawbar to be with Bill.They broke up again but got together in 2000 for good.When Bill left for Queensland,Anne joined him and they promised to be together forever.They are still together and have 3 kids.

3.Karl and Sarah's Affair:

Karl and Sarah had an affair while Susan was away working in Wangaratta.It started off as a one-sided thing but soon enough it became more than that,They never had sex but they shared their first kiss in 1997.Susan found out in 1998 and threw Karl out.Naturally the rest of the family and the street reacted badly.They soon reconciled later in the year.

2.Helen Daniels Death:

Helen died of Old Age in 1997.It was peaceful and happy and she wwas surrounded by loved ones.All the same it devastated the family-especially Hannah-and the whole Street.Everybody loved Helen and as Madge said she was "One in a million".It devasted the nation also.

1.The Kennedy's Arrival:

The Kennedy's Arrival in 1994 is one of the best decisions ever made by writers.This family arrived and was the dominant family until 2000.This fsmily was so specialand it produced 3 legends:Karl and Susan who still remain today and Libby who left in 2011 after pretty much being on the show the whole time except for 2004-2007.Thsi is No.1 because without them,this Era would have been Boring!


So that is why this Era is so great.The Kennedys remain ont he street now 20 years later and their have been 4 Weddings,5 children,3 Stepchildren,3 divorces and  hundreds of strays who have been taken in by The Kennedys.

To Celebrate Neighbours 30th Anniversary I am re-watching all the era's of Neighbours starting with the "Early Years" era.I am finished watching it and I now know why it has made the show a huge success!It was home to Golden Couple Scott and Charlene aswell as original families The Robinsons and The Ramsays!

Storylines which Included Scott and Charlenes teenage Marraige,Daphnes death,Paul and Gails fake wedding,Harold and Madges Wedding,Joe and Kerrys Wedding,Kerrys Death,Todds Death and so much more it really was a brilliant first Era for neighbours!

5.Kerry Bishops Death:

Kerry was shot by hunters in 1990 leaving husband Joe and children Toby and Sky devastated.Her unborn baby also died.

4.Harold and Madges Wedding:

Harold and Madge got married in 1988 with Charlene as bridesmaid and David Bishop as best man.

3.Todd Landers Death:

Todd was hit by a car in 1992 leaving his girlfriend Phoebe and their unborn child aswell as The Robinsons without him.

2.Henry Ramsay and Bronwyn Davies Engagement:

Henry and Bronwyn got engaged in 1989 and married off-screen in New Zealand in 1990.

1.Scott and Charlenes Wedding:

Scott and Charlene married in 1987 despite their parents protests.They survived 2 affairs and living long distance,In 1992 they had their first child Daniel and in 1996 they had their second Madison.They are still togethernow 28 years later and are Ramsay Streets Original Golden Couple
